Privacy Policy

We collect information you submit directly through the platform, information we generate as you use it, and information provided by the services we integrate with. Specifically:

• Account information: your name, email address, and login credentials when you create an account. If you approve a proposal or check out as a guest, we collect the email address you provide for that payment confirmation and account setup.
• Project and task data: details you submit as part of using Creative Troves' services, including project briefs, proposals, task descriptions, notes, comments, workflow and stage progress, and review feedback.
• Uploaded files: files and documents you upload or place in a project, such as images, videos, audio files, and documents (for example PDFs and presentation files). These files are stored in our own database and storage and, for project deliverables, we also place them in the client's Google Drive workspace we provision for the project.
• Usage information: basic technical data such as the pages you visit, the actions you take within the platform, and device and browser information.
• Payment and billing data: when you approve and pay for a project proposal, payment processing is handled by our payment provider (Stripe), and during development and testing a simulated payment flow may be used. We record the payment amount, currency, date, and a reference to the payment session and your paid proposal so we can confirm your payment and activate your project. We do not see or store full payment card numbers — those are entered on and processed entirely by our payment provider's secure pages.

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

• To operate and improve Creative Troves, including creating and managing client projects and deliverables, routing work to the right team members, and provisioning project access.
• To enable collaboration between clients and the Creative Troves team on projects and tasks.
• To communicate with you about your account, projects, and support requests, and to send payment confirmations and project-related notifications you have asked for.
• To analyze and improve the product: we use aggregated usage information to understand how the platform is used, troubleshoot issues, and improve our features and performance.
• To prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents: we verify accounts, detect unauthorized access, and block activity that violates our terms or harms the platform.
• To meet legal, security, and platform integrity obligations.

With your authorization, Creative Troves can connect to your Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and Google Ads accounts to show you how the campaigns we manage for you are performing. This connection is read-only.

• What we read: performance metrics for your ad accounts and campaigns — such as spend, impressions, reach, clicks, and results — together with basic campaign details such as names, statuses, and dates.
• Why we read it: only to display your advertising performance inside your Creative Troves project workspace and to prepare the reporting you have asked us for.
• What we never do: we do not create, edit, pause, publish, or delete ads, and we do not post any content, through this connection. We do not sell this data or use it to build advertising profiles.
• How you stay in control: you can revoke our access at any time from within Meta or Google, or by contacting us, and we will stop syncing your advertising data.

Creative Troves integrates with Google Drive to provide a shared workspace for project deliverables. Specifically, we create and organize client and project deliverable folders, and view files placed in those folders by the team. Access is limited to the folders we create for your projects — we do not access any files outside that scope, and data stored in those folders is not shared with third parties.

Creative Troves' use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

We use cookies and similar browser storage for essential functions of the platform. For example, we use a session token to keep you signed in, a cookie that remembers your language preference, and small preference cookies such as your sidebar state. We also use browser local storage to persist your session and, during guest checkout, to carry your guest token and email between pages. We do not use cookies for third-party advertising or to build advertising profiles.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We only share your information with trusted service providers that help us operate the platform (such as hosting, email, cloud storage, and advertising-platform integration providers), or where required by law, or to protect the rights and safety of our users and the platform.

Creative Troves is operated on cloud infrastructure whose servers may be located outside your country of residence. Uploaded files are stored in Amazon Web Services (AWS), project deliverable workspaces are provided through Google Drive, and payments are processed by Stripe — each of which operates data centers in multiple countries, including the United States. By using Creative Troves, you consent to the transfer and processing of your information as described in this policy. We take reasonable steps to ensure these providers apply appropriate protections to the data they process on our behalf.

We retain account information for as long as your account is active, and project data for as long as needed to provide the service to you. Advertising performance data we sync is retained only while it is needed to provide reporting to you and while the connection is active. We may keep information longer where necessary to comply with legal, tax, or regulatory obligations, to resolve disputes or enforce our agreements, or to protect against abuse and fraud. Contact details are listed below if you need to request that we delete information we hold.

Creative Troves is not directed at children under the age of 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child under 16 has provided us with personal information, please contact us using the details below, and we will take steps to delete that information promptly.

We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

You can review and update your account information, and you can contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information we hold about you. You may also disconnect any connected advertising platform at any time to stop the related data sync.
